With this term Silga indicates “Thermal Flexible” products, particular products that can be classified within the IMS but which have the peculiarity of being composed of a flexible circuit part mounted on a rigid metal dissipating part, usually aluminium, by film or liquid adhesives, applied selectively.
In the design step of these products, for which the collaboration with the customer is essential, can be defined some areas that, once the printed circuit board will be mounted on the final device, they won’t need the heat sink and so they can be bent, curved, etc.. to comply with the device, leaving a large freedom of design for the finished product.
This product category is finding remarkable interest in several sectors, especially in LED Lighting, both traditional and automotive.
