[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]For Silga <\/strong>the connection with the environment and the territory in general is one of the pillars of its essence and it\u2019s reflected in the actions that we take step by step.<\/p>\n

Silga is based in Castelfidardo<\/strong>, in the Ancona province, right next to the Conero Coast and surrounded by beautiful hills, a stunning landscape which makes us even more aware of the importance of protecting it with sustainable practices (you can check here our dedicated brochure<\/strong><\/u><\/a>).<\/p>\n

But the territory does not only refer to the environment but also to the community that lives in it and for this reason Silga is committed in activities together with local universities<\/strong> such as the University of Ancona, the University of Macerata and the University of Camerino, three local universities where the future generation of professionals is taking shape. Over the last period we have had the opportunity to enter in touch with hundreds of students from different departments, from Economics and Managements, to Electronic Engineering and Chemistry. We have taken part into project works, thesis, seminars, research projects and students-companies meeting days.<\/p>\n

This represents for us an incredible opportunity <\/strong>to know better their way of thinking and applying what they have learnt in class into real case studies. On the other hand, we have worked to give them concrete notions of the internal dynamics of a company like ours with real examples, in order to offer an inside view of Silga and its activities.<\/p>\n

Our commitment with the local community in all of its shades is continuous and aimed at giving back what the territory has given and keeps giving us.<\/p>\n
